My family owned some time ago a manufacture of cots. Our cots were very popular in our country and our brand was recognizable even abroad. This was the brand with long tradition as it was my grand grandfather who started it. At the beginning he was making cots on his own but quickly the firm has grew bigger and bigger and at its best moments we hired over one hundred employees. Good old times when people were more aware of quality of products and were not just looking for the cheapest cots. Everything in our store was handmade and it was the best reason why people loved our products. But the times have changed and nowadays it is all about the price of a product. People are now looking on the internet for cots and the price is the only factor that helps them to make the final decision whether to buy or not. The truth is that because of cheap cots form Asia our firm no longer exists. People started to believe only in price and they have forgotten about quality. I know that because of the so called crisis we should have expected that one day it will force us to close our company. But we did not expected that this day will come so quickly. Now our handmade cots are now just history. They were beautiful and were made from the best materials. People who had them never complained. And now they can only look back and regret that everything is lost.
